Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
A unique blend of Carignan, Petite Sirah and Grenache, Barranca is a complex experience. Gorgeous wafts of red fruits such as ripe cherries, plump raspberries, and baking spices fill the nostrils. The palate confirms the nose nuances of cedar, such as a Spanish cedar cigar box. The structure of this wine is medium bodied, but full of complex surprises with every swirl of the glass. Dusty, chalky mineral components coat the taste buds, singing the song of the rocky terroir.
Food Pairing Notes
This is a wine that was structurally built to pair with a marbled Ribeye or New York Strip. The intense tannins work exceptionally well with fatty meats like lamb shank and brisket. This wine will sing at a backyard BBQ or tame your most coveted hand carved butchers selection.
