The Estate Roussanne was hand harvested on July 24, 2022 and immediately put into a whole cluster press for the most gentle of handling. Slow, cool fermentation in stainless steel tanks and gentle clarification and filtering before bottling on February 22, 2023. This wine is a benefitting from bottle age, with the resulting 12 months of bottle aging yielding a wine of immense beauty.
Winemaker notes: Just shy of ripe peach and nectarine with lime citrus piths lightly subdued aromas of stone fruit, banana cream pie, wet slate, and garlic reductive undertones. Dry with light tannin and good acidic structure. Dried Pineapple and lemon zest on the palate.
