The 2019 Reserve Merlot returns! This beautiful wine, 4 years in the making, is finally released to the Vina Vita wine club after nearly 3 years of French oak barrel maturation and almost one and a half years of bottle aging. It's a perfect wine for the cooler Texas winter weather!
A limited production wine, only 140 cases are available with allocation benefitting the wine club.
November 2023 Tasting notes:
Pale Garnet colored in the glass. Aromas of volatile aromas of oak, coffee, cocoa and pencil shavings swing as the wine opens up with dried tobacco, intriguing hints of red fruits and earth. Maraschino Cherry maple syrup and vanilla hit the palate on the sip with light medium tannin structure.
