Newsom Vineyard, located in Plains, Texas is one of the oldest vineyards in Texas with a very distinctive terroir. This herbal, lavender like wine made from the Brunello clone of Sangiovese is a real beauty. Packed with tannins and a sharp acidity, it can be a perfect accompaniment to tomato dishes traditionally used in Italian cuisine.
