This red blend is the champion from our Vina Vita University Blending Class and marks the second release of this fun, club-driven blend.
Tasting Notes:
Pale to Medium ruby in the glass, the wine is dense brilliantly clear and slightly opaque. On the nose a big whiff of vanilla aroma meets the olfactory first, complimenting the spice, clove and herbal elements. Strong aromas of red fruits emerge, raspberry and strawberry intermingle with a very slight tobacco, leather and soy. The nose is harmonious, wrapping up all the elements into a tightly wound aroma that is neither too fruity nor spicy. On the pallet acid grips the fine tannins making for a lighter medium bodied red, once again the vanilla and chai flavors are heavily present here mixing with oak dust and fresh cut wood.
