Grilled pizzas are a perfect way to make an easy dinner party. Guests can select their favorite ingredients and build their perfect pizza. My favorite summertime treat is figs. We have a big fig tree out at the Cobb Family Vineyard and every day I go harvest the bounty. If you can't get fresh figs, try it with fig chutney, the subtle sweetness and fig aroma is a great match for Hensell.
Ingredients
  • Package Thin Pre-cooked Pizza Crust.
  • 1/2 cup Taste Elevated Fig Chutney or fresh figs sliced
  • 1 Package Burrata, or Fresh Motzarella
  • 1 Package Arugula
  • 1 Package Prosciutto
Directions

Preheat your grill. Brush both sides of pizza crust with olive oil, spread a think layer of fig chutney, add torn up pieces of burrata or mozzarella, and some prosciutto.

Place on the grill and close the lid, checking for a crisp crust every 5 minutes. The cheese will be melty and crust crisp and golden. Remove from grill. Add Fresh figs if using and arugula.

Caramelized onions

Anchovies

Tapenade or olives

Goat cheese

Sun-dried tomatoes

Fresh Basil

French-style rose makes a wonderful drink for spring and summer parties. Salty prosciutto and slightly sweet figs balance out the acidity in the wine, the fat from the mozzarella is also cut by the acidity. The aroma of figs here is complemented by the figs on the pizza.
