Grown directly in Block 1, the western-most vineyard at the Estate. These vinse are situated on a caliche / limestone shelf with a thin layer of top soil. This fast draining vineyard is a perfect place to grow Mourvèdre!
in 2020, the fruit came to compelte ripeness and was hand harvested for our Estate Red wine blend, but upon evaluation, we knew we had to reserve some for an Estate Mourvèdre bottling.
