This Mediterranean gem has found no better a home outside of its native Rhone Valley than it has in Texas. Known as 'The Princess' in the vineyard due to its difficult nature, Roussanne shows intensity, rusticity and viscosity all while maintaining the feminine and perfumed grace that the Rhone whites are known for. With a nose that boasts white flowers, dried rosemary and hints of green tea the body shocks the palate with young white peach and dried apricot. The velvety texture of this full bodied white coats the mouth and will hold up to full bodied cuisine!

Food Pairing Notes
This is the ideal pairing for those earthy, funky and pungent notes of Stilton Blue Cheese! The contrast of rich perfumed fruit and musty blue highlights the most admirable points of both treats. This is a wine that will pair with rich artisanal cheeses, wild salmon, pork chops and a fresh fruit summer salad equally well.
