Join Chris Cobb, Kuhlman Cellars Founder and Diane Cobb, Kuhlman Cellars Vineyard Manager for an enlightening afternoon journey from the vineyard to the glass.  Participate in the techniques commonly used to determine ripeness in grapes after pulling the cluster directly from the vine and taste the direct impact of climate variations in the glass.    

Expand your wine knowledge:

~Discuss the cycle of grape maturation to ripeness

~Explore the challenges and variation in determining average grape ripeness in a vineyard block

~Walk the estate vineyard to pull your own berry sample for harvest evaluation

~Test the BRIX (sugar levels) to determine physical ripeness of grapes pulled directly from the vine

~Discuss and taste the varying effects of climate on the same grapes by tasting wines from around the world

~Be the first to taste the unreleased, Gold Medal Winning, 2018 Estate Kuhlmanation White wine!


Be sure to wear footwear and clothing appropriate for a walk in the vineyard!
