Beautiful light strawberry color. Nose is very nice with red berries such as cassis and sweet violet aromas. In the mouth the wine is soft with great roundness in the mid palate and a medium acidity that lingers in the finish.

Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
Notes of early season strawberry and watermelon gently waft from the glass evoking memories of summer. The palate is balanced and soft with notes of strawberry, melon rind, dried herbs and wet slate minerality.
Food Pairing Notes
With bright acidity and a soft body, this wine will hold up to Mediterranean fare and lean meats like poultry. The firm acid will cut through fatty components leaving the palate refreshed and awaiting more.
Production
A beautiful blend of all hand harvested fruit, including Grenache and Cinsault from the Texas High Plains and Carignan from the Kuhlman Cellars Estate. The 2018 Hensell reflects our care and attention to detail in our winemaking to bring forth the most beautiful, delicate and delightful rose wines. Stainless steel, cool fermentation conducted after about 20 hours of cold soak maceration to achieve the perfect summertime color.
