2016 Barranca

A Beautiful, stuctured, full-body red wine!  Barranca is always one of our standout Signature Blends and the 2016 delivers on our legacy of excellence.

The 2016 is a beautiful blend of Tempranillo, Petite Sirah, and Mourvedre, with support from Carignan, Merlot and Cabernet Franc.  It is a rich, delicous wine maturing elegantly with many years ahead of it.

The 2016 Barranca won a Gold Medal at the prestigious Concours International  de Lyon wine competition!  One of only two gold medal winning wines from the USA!

FEB 2023 Tasting Notes: Upon decanting this gem, 6th year old vintage of Barranca, you will discover an elegant wine. The brilliant red cherry color leads you to aromas of black currant, raspberry, thyme, mint and cardamom. The flavors of blueberry, dried figs, coffee and black pepper will marry well with a rack of lamb.
