Join Chris Cobb, Kuhlman Cellars Founder and Diane Cobb, Kuhlman Cellars Vineyard Manager for an enlightening afternoon journey from the vineyard to the glass. Participate in the techniques commonly used to determine ripeness in grapes after pulling the cluster directly from the vine and taste the direct impact of climate variations in the glass.
Expand your wine knowledge:
- Discuss the cycle of grape maturation to ripeness
- Test the BRIX (sugar levels) to determine physical ripeness of grapes pulled directly from the vine
- Taste variations of sugar level and how it affects the palate
- Discuss and taste the varying effects of climate change on the same grapes
Be sure to wear footwear and clothing appropriate for a walk in the vineyard!
